The Lahav non-profit organization was established in 1998. Since then, it has operated social cinematic projects for disadvantaged populations in which thousands of people throughout the country have taken part. At the heart of each project, throbs a creative and therapeutic process which enables the participants to express themselves by creating quality film which is then exposed to hundreds of thousands of viewers on television and in the cinema.
Lahav has a skilled, professional team which has accumulated much experience through the numerous projects they have carried out, including teaching a unique work system that culminates in the production of a film and is an intense, meaningful experience for each and every participant. These projects have found many enthusiastic supporters, including key personalties in the Ministry of Education, television and cinema professionals, managers of non-profit organizations, managers of youth centers and, of course, the thousands of children and young people who participate in the organization’s activities.
